● Explore the Lancashire town of Clitheroe
● Visit Browsholme Hall, the oldest surviving family home
in Lancashire and ancestral home of the Parker Family.
This morning we head to Clitheroe, set in the glorious
Ribble Valley. This market town is packed with independent
shops not usually found on the high street. Clitheroe Castle
dominates the skyline, a ruined, early medieval castle
which is home to the Castle Museum and has stood for
over 800 years. After time for lunch, we visit Browsholme
Hall, which has been the ancestral home of the Parkers;
Bowbearers of the Forest of Bowland since Tudor times.
Today it is still the family’s home and they invite visitors to
enjoy its magni昀椀cent architecture, fabulous interiors and
antique furnishings set in the stunning landscape of the
Hodder Valley.

● Visit the popular spa town of Matlock Bath
● Experience a unique spectacular parade of illuminated
and an decorated boats along the River Derwent
Join us on a special trip to the Peak District for a unique
spectacular. On arrival at Matlock there will be time to
explore the town and in the early evening we head to the
setting of the beautiful riverside Derwent Gardens, 昀椀lled
with stalls and fairground rides. The Matlock Bath Venetian
Boat Builders' Association decorate themed models with
an array of coloured lights which are mounted on rowing
boats and appear to ‘glide’ above the water on a wonderful
parade along the river. As a grand 昀椀nale to 昀椀nish the
evening there is a dazzling 昀椀rework display .
