�What’s included
Day 1: Travel to Newcastle for a 4-night stay. We
stop along the way at a nice lunch stop.
Day 2: Enjoy Northumbria’s stunning coastline
along the North Northumberland Heritage Coast.
Visit the wonderful Holy Island, only accessible at
low tide via a causeway, and the picturesque
village of Bamburgh with its spectacular coastal
castle.
Day 3: Today we head south to the medieval city
of Durham with its magni昀椀cent Castle and
Cathedral, we enjoy a one-hour relaxing cruise in
the heart of the city and then have free time to
explore the city.
Day 4: Excursion to the historic town of Alnwick in
the heart of Northumberland, home to an
impressive castle featured in the Harry Potter
昀椀lms. Enjoy a visit to Alnwick Garden - one of the
world’s most extraordinary contemporary gardens,
with its Rose Garden, Serpent Garden, Poison
Garden, and Grand Cascade.
Day 5: It's time for home today, we make a photo
stop at the Angel of the North and then a nice spot
for lunch.

Day 1: Journey To Newcastle stopping at Barnard
Castle or Skipton for lunch.
Day 2: Enjoy Northumbria's unspoilt beauty and
stunning coastline on today's excursion along the
North Northumberland Heritage Coast. Visit the
wonderful Holy Island also known as Lindisfarne,
which is home to a Priory and a castle, only
accessible at low tide via causeway (This trip is
Tide Times Permitting). Afterwards, we have a real
treat, we head for Seahouses for a 1.5-hour boat
cruise around the Farne Islands. The cruise sails
around the islands viewing the large colony of grey
seals and also the thousands of nesting birds. A
really great experience.
Day 3: Today we visit Cragside, an extraordinary
Victorian house, gardens and woodland in the
heart of Northumberland. Described in 1880 as an
extraordinary palace of the modern magician,
Cragside House is a truly unique visitor attraction.

Day 4: Excursion to the historic town of Alnwick in
the heart of Northumberland, home to an
