Ki-67 protein is present during all active phases of the cell
cycle (G1, S, G2, and mitosis), but is absent from resting cells
(G0), making it an excellent marker for determining the socalled growth fraction of a given cell population2.

In addition to their well-established function in providing epidermal
stability, Keratin 10 intermediate filaments are supposed to be important
for terminal epidermal differentiation and barrier formation4.
Nboost helps to prevent thinning of the skin and form an efficient
epidermal barrier
Keratin 17 is recognized as key early barrier alarmins and its upregulation
contributes to hyperproliferation and innate immune activation of KCs in
response to an epidermal barrier breach, followed by the autoimmune
activation of T cells5. No change was observed in Keratin 17 which
would indicate an immune response
