Record Breaking Sale
A
new record price for both bulls and heifers was set at the Sterling Sales Scotland in October
2023.
Setting the Bull record at £46,000Stg was Overhill House Neo for Richard McCulloch, West
Lothain.
This stylish bull is out of Seepa Daffodil, a Hillcrest Jerome sired cow who was bred by Paddy & Elaine
Hennelly, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo.
Seepa Daffodil, who is out of a Milton Lord Tiffany dam, Seepa Aster was purchased by the Overhill
House Herd at Roscommon in November 2014. Neo was purchased by the Backmuir Herd.
Heathbrow Natasha at £32,000stg sets new female record when selling as part of the Heathbrow
dispersal sale.
Again, this record breaker was out of an Irish bred dam, Raceview Emerald Alicia bred by Peter &
Marion O`Connell, Mallow, Co. Cork.
Purchased by Hannah Wood, Preston, this eighteen month old heifer will be her foundation female.
Raceview Emerald Alicia, a Milnafua Graduate cow who in turn is out of a Raceview King sired cow
Raceview Alicia was purchased by David & Lesley Sapsed in Roscommon November 2013.
