M
s Georgina Ganly of the
Irish Cancer Society
commented upon
receipt of the cheque:
“We are so incredibly grateful to
the Irish Simmental Cattle Society
for their hard work and efforts in
bringing this charity auction to life in
celebration of their 50th anniversary.
Receiving a cheque for €13,100 is
truly amazing and we can’t thank your
contributors enough for this.
The Irish Cancer Society funds lifechanging cancer research projects
and provides free support and care to
cancer patients and their loved ones
across Ireland.
We typically receive just 3% of our
funding from the Government, so it’s
thanks to the generosity of fundraisers
such as this that means we are able
to provide services and support to
ensure nobody in Ireland has to face
cancer alone.

Anniversary Charity Auction to Irish Cancer Society representative Georgina

Your incredible support and generosity will continue to bring real and lasting benefits to the lives
of cancer patients, survivors, and their families. Through donations like this we can ensure vital
services like our freephone support line, volunteer drives to bring people to and from chemotherapy
appointments, night nursing for end-of life care, crucial research plus so much more will be provided
to help support cancer patients and their loved ones.
Thank you from everyone at the Irish Cancer Society for your support.”
