HALL OF FAME 2022
A wholehearted supporter of the benefits of showing cattle,
and a long-time exhibitor herself, she is particularly interested
in promoting young showmanship. During her time on National
Council Alice championed the establishment of the YISA and
secured additional resources to encourage greater engagement
by young members with the breed.
Throughout her time serving in the various positions she
held on Council and with the North Eastern Club, Alice has
been tireless in her unselfish efforts on behalf of her fellow
Simmental breeders. She has played a very significant role
in the progress of Irish Simmental both within Ireland and
overseas.
It is very encouraging to see Alice still as passionate today
about the Simmental breed and its merits after a lifetime’s
involvement.
