chapter that the beer pot for the ritual at the grave of the deceased father of the house was
temporarily kept above that double entrance during har ghwe (ritual slaughtering of a hegoat). At the bottom end we can see the wooden door (B) made of mahogany, covering half of
the entrance leading into the foyer. The close-up of Plate 31d shows the same door (B) of the
lower room, and we also see Kalakwa's granary (C) on the other side of the upper passageway
(ghar malga).
