Representing and Advocating
for Primary Care
At a commissioning and ministerial level, Mahitahi
Hauora continues to advocate for equitable pay
between primary and secondary care and promote
the need for a dedicated pathway for student nurses
to enter primary care.
We represent the interests of general practices and
the communities of Tai Tokerau at various national
and regional forums, working groups and committees
