Avonline Networks appointed by
Government Facility Services Limited
as supplier of TV and Media Systems
Avonline Networks has been appointed
as a supplier of digital infrastructure
services by Government Facility
Services Limited (GFSL) for 49 prison
establishments in the South of England.
As part of a current ongoing service
programme, Avonline Networks will deliver
the maintenance and enhancement of cabling
and associated infrastructure; maintaining
programmable head-end and electronic
equipment; and the repair and upgrade of
aerials and satellite dishes.

Evans commented: “We are delighted to
have secured this agreement and we will
now work closely as part of GFSL’s estates
management team to provide a seamless
delivery, ensuring continuity of service. As
well as managing the maintenance and
upgrade of all cabling and associated
infrastructure, our accredited, DBS checked
engineers will provide same day, reactive
repair services and round-the-clock, all-yearround technical support to 49 GFSL sites.”

IRS Manager on CAI
Board of Directors
Confederation of Aerial Industries (CAI) has
appointed Avonline Networks’ IRS Manager, Nick
Evans, on to their board of directors.
His term will last for two years – he can then
be re-elected by members to continue with his
posting.
During his time on the board, Nick will be working
with the marketing and technical committee.
Nick said: “I am delighted to be voted on to
the board and look forward to working with
likeminded individuals, and raising standards
within the industry.”
CAI was formed in 1978 to represent and
establish standards within the fast-growing TV
signal reception industry.
The Association focuses on raising industry
standards, developing members skills,
supporting and representing the industry at local
and national levels.
They represent businesses of all sizes and
specialise in different areas of the industry.
Members work in domestic and commercial
sectors – experts in audio, video and data
reception and distribution industry.
CAI’s supporting partners include BBC, Ofcom,
Freesat, Freeview, and Digital UK – to name but
a few.
