Party Awards
The 5 December saw the
festivities in full flow at the
Magdalene Christmas Party.
Mark Turner, Magdalene Managing Director,
paid tribute to the Employee Forum for doing
an absolutely fantastic job in pulling the event
together. Magdalene’s success over the past year
has been a direct result of the hard-working and
dedicated teams and ensures that Magdalene are
on track to achieve their targets.
Mark celebrated a number of individual, team
and project achievements with the Outstanding
Contribution Awards.

Those recognised for their contributions to
Magdalene were; Chariot Project Team for
building up the new project with Huawei,
Openreach Project Team for adapting quickly to
a changing landscape with G.fast, to continue to
deliver key volumes of work.
Sarah Rouget, Finance Operations Manager,
for her support and collaboration with managers
across Magdalene. Phil Lamport, System
Consultant, for making significant improvements
with tools, and for performing a leadership role
within the employee forum.
Brian Aitken, Bid Manager, was recognised
for helping Magdalene by transforming the bid
process and collaborating with teams to make
huge strides in the bid quality. Scott Wilson,
Account Manager for his success with insourcing
a large amount of copper, power and fibre works
and his collaboration with the resourcing function
in bringing the teams onboard.
Mark Little, Clerk of Works Supervisor was
recognised for his excellent organisational and
management skills in transforming the working
pattern rota’s which has eased the continual
challenge of resource management.
The final award was given to the Marshalling and
Integration Centre (MIC) team for processing tens
of thousands of movements a year and continuing
to deliver a very high level of service to the whole
business and scoring incredibly well during
external customer audits.
