MBNL Contract Win
Magdalene signs a five-year framework agreement with MBNL
Magdalene has secured a new fiveyear framework agreement with Mobile
Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL), the
EE (UK) and Three (UK) joint venture
responsible for the management
and network deployment of
telecommunications sites owned by its
joint shareholders.
Under the terms of the agreement, Magdalene
will support the delivery of MBNL’s Notice to
Quit (NTQ) and Towers and Antennas (T&A)
operations. Both projects are scheduled to
begin in January 2020.
Magdalene will support MBNL’s NTQ
operations by ensuring network coverage is
maintained throughout the transition between
site decommissioning and the sourcing
and deployment of a replacement site. The
programme delivery will include the acquisition,
design and development of new network sites,
managing replacement site coverage and major
equipment moves.
In addition, Magdalene will provide end-to-end
services to support MBNL’s T&A programme.
This high-profile programme includes upgrades,
new build and construct only workstreams
across the estate of 21,000 urban and rural
mast sites across the UK.
