FUSION 2020:
supporting growth across the Group
Fusion 2020 is a group-wide project to implement Oracle Cloud, a fully integrated ERP system. Oracle Cloud
will replace several of our ageing HR, payroll and nance systems, improving the way we do business now
and supporting the future growth of M Group Services and its businesses including Morrison Telecom
Services, Magdalene and Avonline.
M Group Services Chief Financial Officer Martin Beesley, executive sponsor of Fusion 2020, comments:
“Oracle Cloud will provide a single platform for the Group as it continues to grow, together with standard,
streamlined business processes. This shouldn’t be seen as an IT, finance or HR project but as a businesswide project. The investment is the single biggest capex project to have been undertaken across the Group.
“Oracle Cloud will enable faster, more accurate and more effective processing and reporting across the
Group, reducing the administrative burden for finance and HR teams, freeing up time for them to support
colleagues in other ways.
“The development of a fully integrated system will enable the retirement of existing finance and HR
systems across several M Group Services businesses. On an individual level, our people will be able to
access and update their personal information in real-time. They will have online access to book holidays,
manage absences and view payslips. For new hires, the system will provide an improved on-boarding
process for HR and payroll.”
What is ERP?
