Crisp packet drive
encouraged by MTS
Morrison Telecom Services Dartford office has started a drive to collect empty crisp
packets for recycling to help raise money for the Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance
charity.
Last year alone, the Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance was called out to help over
2,000 people in life-threatening conditions. Annual costs of this independent charity
amount to over £11.4m, fully funded by the generosity of the public.
Suggested and implemented by Streetworks Coordinator Michelle Battell, the scheme
(run by Walkers and Terracycle) accepts any brand of crisp packet. A recycling point
has been placed in the Morrison Telecom Services office in Dartford to help support this
charity.
