Morrison Telecom ServicesSafety Qualification SuccessCongratulations to Paul Bedson who has achieved the NEBOSH GeneralCertificate in Occupational Safety & Health, which is the leading health andsafety management qualification.In the UK, the certificate is equivalent to an SCQF Level 6 qualification, whichis comparable to an NQF/QCF Level 3 or GCE AS/A Level in England, Walesand Northern Ireland.This professional qualification will give Paul the confidence, knowledge andplatform to progress in his career as a safety professional.BoxIT: What is it and how is it helpingMorrison Telecom Services?Morrison Telecom Services has seenpositive results following the businesswide launch of BoxIT: a new file repositorysystem that is resulting in reduced costsand shorter loading times.Designed to replace the old file repositorysystem, Box, BoxIT is embedded directlyinto Salesforce, giving us full control overfunctionality and design.This means we could introduce newfeatures such as Merge, Zip, DocumentPreview and Create SD and LS, all ofwhich have been introduced to reduceadmin work. We have also made significantsavings on licence costs as we can grantaccess to the file repository to the current1,500 users of BT OptiMUS via our existingSalesforce licences.Since its launch in May, we have receivedan abundance of feedback from acrossthe business and supply chain – thanks toall those who took the time to provide it.The positive feedback included the quickresponse time required for resolving raisedissues and the speed at which users cannow download documents either with theZip or Merge buttons.We have taken on board all of the issuesraised in your feedback and have madeimprovements to the overall functionalityof the system. We encountered severalchallenges along the way and would like tothank everyone for their patience while weworked to address them.Overall, the project launch has been asuccess, with the primary challenge beingthe loading time for the BT Job page,which was resolved and is now 98%faster.
