Safety Qualification Success
Congratulations to Paul Bedson who has achieved the NEBOSH General
Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, which is the leading health and
safety management qualification.
In the UK, the certificate is equivalent to an SCQF Level 6 qualification, which
is comparable to an NQF/QCF Level 3 or GCE AS/A Level in England, Wales
and Northern Ireland.
This professional qualification will give Paul the confidence, knowledge and
platform to progress in his career as a safety professional.
BoxIT: What is it and how is it helping
Morrison Telecom Services?
Morrison Telecom Services has seen
positive results following the businesswide launch of BoxIT: a new file repository
system that is resulting in reduced costs
and shorter loading times.
Designed to replace the old file repository
system, Box, BoxIT is embedded directly
into Salesforce, giving us full control over
functionality and design.
This means we could introduce new
features such as Merge, Zip, Document
Preview and Create SD and LS, all of
which have been introduced to reduce
admin work. We have also made significant
savings on licence costs as we can grant
access to the file repository to the current
1,500 users of BT OptiMUS via our existing
Salesforce licences.
Since its launch in May, we have received
an abundance of feedback from across
the business and supply chain – thanks to
all those who took the time to provide it.
The positive feedback included the quick
response time required for resolving raised
issues and the speed at which users can
now download documents either with the
Zip or Merge buttons.
We have taken on board all of the issues
raised in your feedback and have made
improvements to the overall functionality
of the system. We encountered several
challenges along the way and would like to
thank everyone for their patience while we
worked to address them.
Overall, the project launch has been a
success, with the primary challenge being
the loading time for the BT Job page,
which was resolved and is now 98%
faster. We will continue working to provide
significant improvements.
