Case Study: OCL Regeneration
OCL Regeneration9s approach and network of facilities brings together
Milestone9s asset management and design expertise to enable 100% of the
waste produced through highways maintenance to be recycled into new
aggregates, surfacing materials and low carbon concretes.
The collaboration framework
agreement between both Milestone
and OCL to supply our current and
future clients with OCL9s industryleading highways recycling and
circular economy solution nationwide,
supports our target of achieving net
zero across Milestone9s operations,
including its supply chain, by 2040.

agreement sees the businesses
build on the existing relationship
established around the multi-awardwinning Micheldever highways
waste recycling depot project, and
other existing works across
Oxfordshire, Somerset and North
Somerset. Over the past twelve
months, Milestone and OCL have
jointly recycled over 30,000 tonnes
of highway waste saving more than
500 tonnes of carbon.
