Mental and Physical Wellbeing
Case Study: Mental Health Training
In July, Milestone rolled out Mental Health and Wellbeing workshops to employees
across Cambridgeshire Highways. Using local village halls and community centres
within the communities we work we visited Whittlesford, Huntingdon, March and
Witchford, supporting employees in all 4 depots and the office.

Coaching, gave guidance on how to
avoid burn out, how to support our
colleagues if they are struggling with
poor mental health, how to cope with
the public and support them with any
frustrations due to travel interruptions,
how to switch off after work and most
importantly how crucial doing something
for yourself each day is. Last year 20
Milestone employees working within
Cambridge Contract attended a St
Johns Ambulance Mental Health First
Aider Course and are now Level 3
Qualified Metal Health First Aiders.
