RING CEREMONY
On Thursday, November 9th, the LSU Women’s Basketball team
received their National Championship rings. A ceremony was held
at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, the PMAC, and their National
Championship Banner was also displayed. The Players, Coaches, and
other staff related to the team were given rings by Scott Woodward,
the athletic director, and LSU’s President William Tate. This was a
big moment for LSU because not only did these women win the
championship and the world what LSU can do, but they were also the
first basketball team in LSU history to win a Championship.
