Being a part of the Gumbo Yearbook team has been an
amazing journey full of creativity and joy. As a team, we
are able to capture an entire year’s worth of memories and
special moments of LSU students. We made the decision
to design a card deck theme this year to reflect the various
possibilities that one may take. Additionally, we added
illustrations to the cover of the book to imitate a card. For
the past three years, it has been an amazing opportunity
to cover LSU and the Baton Rouge community. I would like
to thank this university, student media, faculty, and the
amazing gumbo team for helping me write a book that we
will all remember.
