All of LSU came together for Homecoming Week to celebrate the school
and our Champion Status, which was a theme throughout the week. Spirit
banners by different organizations were displayed outside of the Union,
and throughout the week there were many events to celebrate all parts of
LSU as a university. The week started with Splaterbeat, hosted by RHA. On
Tuesday, the LSU student government held a movie night, the movie being
Barbie; many students dressed up in their favorite pink outfits and cozied
up blankets to watch Ken and Barbie in the Union Ballroom. Wednesday,
the Spirit Banners were hung and the Battle of the Bands took place on the
Parade Grounds. On Thursday, the greek life lawn decor was put on display,
Sorority row greek life block party was roaring, and the geaux diva drag show
was held in the union. Friday had the NPHC step show and bengal block
party at tower drive. On the last and final day of homecoming week, the
homecoming king and queen were announced at the LSU vs, Army game.
