KAPPA KAPPA GAM
Kappa Kappa Gamma is a organization of women which seeks for
every member throughout her life bonds of friendship, mutual support,
opportunities for self-growth, respect for intellectual development, and
an understanding of and an allegiance to positive ethical principles. The
Delta Iota chapter strives to demonstrate the characteristics through
sisterhood, scholarship, and service. Last year, the Delta Iota Chapter
raised over 30,000 dollars for their local philanthropy, St. Jude’s Dream
Day Foundation, during their annual Kappa Classic Golf Tournament. The
foundation provides a day of activities and fun for patients and families
of the Children’s Hospital. Additionally, the Delta Iota Chapter supports
Mental Health America through their annual Kappa Crawfish boil and
additional yearly events.
