OWINGLSU Rowing is a collegiatesports team dedicatedto train rowers to raceacross the nation. Theycompete in 3 races in the fallsemester and 4 to 5 racesin the spring semester. LSUrowing attended both theSouthern IntercollegiateRowing Association (SIRA)Championships and racingagainst some of the bestrowing programs across thecountry including Texas, Tulane,other Louisiana schools, andmany more. Their goal for theirprogram is to push the athletesto be competitive in all theraces we attend and to bringback successful results back toLouisiana State University.259
