Silver and bronze medallists at the Tokyo Paralympics
Alexa Szvitacs,
Paralympic bronze medallist, world and
European champion para table tennis player
“I was nervous during the first match, so I lost.
I didn’t have the faintest idea how I would get
through the finals. My coach, Iván Vitsek, and I
discussed that I would need to enjoy the finals,
and whatever happens, happens. All in all, I was
anxious a lot, I lost countless points and match
points, but I managed to win, and that is what
counts. I am happy that I could finish my first
world championship with winning the gold medal.”
Krisztina Dávid
Paralympic bronze medallist,
world championship silver medallist,
European champion para shooter
“anks to sports, my personality is much
more focused, organised and efficient. I
have learned to face my faults, and I’m
getting to know myself more and more.
You can do sport for the pleasure, the
company, the friends. It is also a great
opportunity to realise that we are capable
of much more than we think.”
