Paralympic, world and European champion para swimmer
Bianka Pap was injured in a skiing accident and her shin failed to recover.
At the recommendation of her doctors she started swimming, where
her talent was discovered. She proved her aptitude participating at the
Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro at only 16, winning a silver medal in the 100
m Backstroke, and a bronze medal in the 200 m Medley. Motivated to
realise her dreams, she did not cease preparations, and her drive was not
hindered by the difficulties posed by the Covid pandemic either.
