Paralympic, world and European champion paracanoeist
He was born in Pécs, Hungary in 2003. When he was eight, his immune system was
attacked by Guillain-Barré syndrome, an autoimmune disease, which forced him
into a wheelchair. He tried various sports at the “Mozgásjavító” Elementary School
in Budapest, and in the end, para canoe turned out to be the best match. He started
secondary school as adult world champion and two years later he won
the Paralympics in Tokyo, as well. Today, he is a four-time world and European
champion, and his main goal for the Olympics in Paris is to retain this title.
