money they are trying to suck out of your wallet could
be way off.
Previous Bankruptcy Filings
If you’ve ever filed for bankruptcy, there is a good
chance that your IRS transcripts contain errors.
The IRS computer system has a very hard time
understanding how Bankruptcy works. This often
results in the IRS erroneously charging you for taxes,
penalties, and interest, which you no longer owe.
This could be because the taxes in question were
discharged in Bankruptcy, but the IRS computer
system never recorded this information (very
common).
Or the IRS computer system did not correctly record
the beginning of your Bankruptcy filing, any additional
Bankruptcy filings, or the discharge date of your
Bankruptcy.
Believe it or not, there are cases where the IRS is 100%
