Our Biophilic Finishes are :
Corten Steel :- By creating a real iron coating on the surface of the product we
are able to pre-rust and even the seal the surface to prevent run off. Make no
mistake this is a real rusty corten finish, absolutely indistinguishable from solid
Corten steel but with none of the inconvenience or weight issues.
Verdigris and Verdirust :- As with the corten finish, a layer of real copper is
bonded to the product’s surface and pre oxidised to give a beautiful and genuine
verdigris pattern, which again can be sealed. We have mixed it up by combining
copper and iron together to create our unique verdirust coating which gives you a
unique mix of both on the same product – different every time and very popular.
Vintage metals :- The same basic technology as our corten and verdigris
finishes. We bond real copper, iron, brass, bronze and aluminium to the
product’s surface and cut & polish it to a battered, vintage style real metal look.
We can wax or seal it permanently for interior or exterior use. Again completely
indistinguishable from real metal because it IS real metal, just a very thin coating.
Naturals :- Accurate representations of aged lead/dark concrete, terracottas,
earthenware and lighter concrete. So realistic they have been used on Chelsea
show gardens and fooled everyone. Now available in Rustic style, with an even
more realistic broken surface.
Premium stone :- Actual stone aggregate in various shades and colours
bonded to the surface of the products to give both the feel and appearance of
real stone. Now available in even more realistic rustic style featuring a broken
surface.
Artisan :- Recreating the look of ribbed rustic stoneware in any colour, a
delightful true artisan finish that has been used on main avenue show gardens at
the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
All our finishes can be applied to almost any of our vast planter range to give the
option of creating an eclectic mix of shapes, sizes and finishes for that true
biophilic look.
