Activity: Mentor and mentee meet to draft an Individual Development Plan
(IDP). Mentor shares insights into current industry trends and challenges,
providing relevant articles, reports, or case studies. Mentee reflects on how
these trends impact their goals and career trajectory.
Outcome: Mentee gains a deeper understanding of the industry landscape.

or case studies) shared by the mentor.
Identify key industry trends and
challenges that resonate with your
goals and career trajectory.
Reflect on how these trends impact
your current role, skills, and
aspirations. Use the reflection
template to:
Organize thoughts on how the
trends impact skills and aspirations.
Prepare a summary of reflections
and specific questions to discuss
with mentor.
Meet with mentor and
Update IDP per recommendations.
Engage in a discussion to deepen
understanding and explore
actionable steps based on the
trends.
Schedule the next meeting.
