You mention openly about being ADHD; have you always
done so? If not, what held you back? If so, what gave you the
confidence to do so?
Growing up in Brazil, ADHD wasn9t really talked about. I didn9t
even hear about it until I was in my 30s. For me, it9s all about
knowing your superpowers and your kryptonite. Being open
about having ADHD helps people understand you better, and
there9s no reason to be shy about it. In my previous company,
my partner would joke, 8Wait a minute, Richard9s off traveling
again, come back to earth!9 They knew I had ADHD and
respected that—it9s just part of who I am.
How can others use a community to drive their business
growth?
People don9t just want to be educated anymore—they want to
be part of something. Communities are the best way to engage
with your customers, connect them to your values, and
immerse them in your brand. When people feel like they9re
part of a community, they9ll start promoting your brand like it9s
their own. That kind of connection drives growth because
they9re not just customers—they9re advocates.
