had gone to the wrong Conference Hall.
Everyone was very bemused for about 10
minutes before anyone said anything!
What do you feel is
accomplishment to date?
your
biggest
Being able to stand in Parliaments all
around the world and guide our leaders,
writing new legislations and policies which
change the fundamental human rights of
Disabled people.
What's one word that you'd like people to
associate with you?
A fighter, both physically and mentally.
Physically, in the face of having a terminal
illness that seems to want to take me down
every chance I get, and during these times, I
find a way through, my way. And mentally
being able to defy the expectations that
people have of me.
The Unlearning Ableism Podcast started as a
LinkedIn live series exploring ableism with Celia and
Jamie as hosts. They welcomed guests with their
own lived experiences of Disability. Due to its
success and the incredible conversations that
followed our once Live series is now a podcast
available across all major platforms, with captioned
