Inclusion challenges us to look beyond
our own experiences and consider how
others are affected by inequality. It’s
easy to think that because something
hasn’t been a problem for us, it’s not a
problem for anyone else. But inclusion
encourages
different
us
to
people
challenges.
And
recognize
face
that
different
when
we
work
together to create an inclusive society,
we make sure no one is left behind.
Accessibility
and
Creating
a
Community of Belonging
Inclusion is not just about having
diverse voices in the room; it's about
ensuring that everyone can participate
and thrive. This is where accessibility
comes
in.
Accessibility
means
removing barriers that prevent people
from
fully
engaging
in
their
communities. These barriers could be
physical, like a lack of ramps or
elevators,
or
they
could
be
technological, like websites that aren’t
designed for people with disabilities.
True inclusion means recognizing and
addressing these barriers so that
everyone—regardless of their ability—
can access the same opportunities.
When we prioritize accessibility, we
send
a
clear
belongs here.
