Are there
overcome?
any
hurdles
you’ve
had
to
This is such a great question. For me it goes
back to when I first started my coaching
business. In the first two years I spun my
wheels. Thinking I could do things on my own
without seeking help was a mistake I wish I
could change. However, in those two years, I
also learned something about myself. I’m
resilient and I don’t give up on me.
So with that being said, after trying so many
different approaches to getting my business up
and running, watching several YouTube videos,
signing up for coaching programs that I wasn’t
ready for because I wasn’t at that stage of
business growth, buying many digital products
(some of which I started but never finished or
never started at all), and signing up for
challenge after challenge and webinar after
webinar, I finally hired a coach that I found
understood my challenges.
It has been a journey for sure but I truly believe
and I am grateful that in my journey I have met
some incredible women who support me and
encourage me to be my best self. Currently, I
have an amazing business coach who I
absolutely love and who has made a
tremendous difference in how I see myself and
my business.

The reason I share this part of my story is that
for me I believe in the beginning that was that
my biggest hurdle - asking for help and thinking
that it made me look weak, unprepared,
unworthy, and not ready to do something
different with my life. I think it’s so important
that realize that asking for help is a sign of
strength, and getting the assistance of
someone who has traveled the road you are
traveling on will help you avoid a lot of
mistakes.
What are some business tools you can’t live
without or would recommend?
I absolutely love Canva and Trello. I’m a
creative. I have an art background and so for
me Canva allows me to bring images to life. I
also absolutely am thrilled with the newness of
AI in that it also allows me to bring images to
life in a way I never thought possible, as well as
the use of AI helps me brainstorm my ideas. As
for Trello, I love that it allows me to have
working boards to organize myself. I know you
only asked for one, but I couldn’t help myself as
I absolutely love all three tools because they
make my life so much easier.
