How did you get started in your sector and what
does JGTS do?
I started my career in the UK as a ticket checker
while studying. Firsthand, I witnessed the issues
customers faced aswell as how its a stigma to go to
a soup kitchen when you dont have enough cash,
driving my belief that technology should serve
greater purposes than profit alone. This experience
gave me the vision to make a difference in
transportation and also end food poverty.
Later, my company shifted focus to making a
difference globally, reinforcing my belief in using
technology for good. I envisioned a company that
could bridge these gaps through innovative software
and hardware solutions, especially in transportation,
which profoundly impacts people's lives and the
planet. Furthermore, I believe transportation should
be accessible to everyone.
Acting on the principle that doing is more effective
than just reading, I learned British Sign Language.
This experience opened my eyes to the challenges
many face, leading me to ensure that everything we
design for customers is created with accessibility
and sustainability in mind. We even designed a sign
language detection vision software for transport.
At JGTS, we design and manufacture solutions that
prioritize the passenger. we're not just about
creating profitable products; we're about making a
difference. Our big vision is a world where every
technological
advancement
contributes
to
sustainable development, improving quality of life
without compromising our planet's health.
