Do you believe there should be a strong
emphasis
on
diversity
in
a
business,
organisation or community?
I absolutely believe that there should be strong
emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion in
organizations because our world is becoming
more diverse and every day we interact with
people from different backgrounds. Diversity
should be about the full breathe of human
difference and everyone needs to learn to
appreciate and value the uniqueness in other
people. Research has shown that diversity
increases staff productivity, innovation, job
satisfaction, and positive financial impact on
businesses. That is why it is the focus of my
business.
We all learn lessons as we go through life
and business, what is one of the biggest ones
you’ve learnt?
The biggest personal lesson that I have learned
is that relationships built on heart and soul
connections can bridge the gap of difference
between cultural groups. I found out that
building real, authentic relationships etween
diverse groups of people are essential if you
truly
want
to
build
cross-cultural
understanding. That is why I have been able to
be successful in developing an array of crosscultural relationships and learned to interact
