How did you get started in your business?
I started my business with my husband James since
we both had been touched by discrimination and
marginalization. We take what we have learned from
our experiences to right the wrongs in our local
community and society at large. I formed Wilburn &
Associates, LLC as a vehicle to provide diversity,
equity, and inclusion training, coaching, consultation,
and advocacy. I want Wilburn & Associates, LLC to
address the inequities caused by
marginalization and othering as well
as
decrease
misunderstanding
cultural
among
diverse
groups by providing quality training,
coaching, and cultural events.
Tell us a bit about your work.
Wilburn & Associates is passionate
about leadership development and
administrators who are committed to
diversity, social justice, and authentic
llyship. We want to increase the intercultural
development of leaders so they can help their
organization flourish by gaining the skills necessary to
excel in a diverse and inclusive world. The programs
offered by Wilburn & Associates, LLC are designed for
individuals and organizations who are committed to
diversity and want to move beyond performative
advocacy and allyship to real action; have an interest
