What's something you need to be
mindful of as someone with (hidden)
disabilities and something you'd like
others who may be neurodivergent or
who have disabilities to know?
"As a person with ADHD, chronic pain,
and sleep disorder, I am routinely
challenged by my fluctuating energy,
brain fog, and overall fatigue. As the
leader of my brand, I must put in extra
effort to walk the talk of self-care and
compassion for myself first.
"I have [also] experienced a staggering
number of traumas in my life. These
experiences led me to believe I was
unworthy of kindness from others and
that something was inherently wrong
with me. I had to do much internal work
to overcome the limiting thoughts that
continued to pervade my selfconceptualization!
"Even if it might take you longer than a
fully non-disabled neurotypical person
to achieve your dreams, it is still worth
it. We build the ramp to our dream one
inch at a time, one step at a time. Your
ramp is just as beautiful and worthy
whether it takes two days to build or 12
years."
What lasting impact do you hope to
leave on the world?
What's a key message you'd like to
share with everyone?
"You deserve to live your life authentic
to your own soul's desires, dreams, and
goals, not something society has
created for you."
We use the word 'rebel' a lot here!
LOL! This word can mean different
things to different people. What's it
mean for you?
"I refuse to buy into societal "norms"
aside from the bills and taxes I'm
required to pay to live where I chose to
live. Otherwise, none of this one size fits
all sh*t for me!"
Music often means a lot to humans like
us; what's the one song you'd listen to
on repeat over and over?
"The Waves We Give from Rhythmic
Meditation by Beautiful Chorus. I can
dance to this important reminder of my
energy and impact on the world."
