The Aims of Funfulness are:
1) To make mindfulness fun
2) To make mindfulness accessible and
inclusive for all
3) To encourage you to remember what you
like to do for fun
4) To inspire you to seek out more fun and
play
5) To help you be fully present with your joy
All of the principles of mindfulness are very
important, and I still believe in the power of
meditation and breathwork as a big part of
mindfulness, however, this can sometimes be
a difficult starting point for some.
So, I have some questions for you to think
about today….
1) What do you like to do for fun?
2) Do you do this/these regularly?
3) What do your loved ones like to do for fun?
4) How can you bring moments of fun or
playfulness into your every day?
5) Can you reduce distractions so that you
don’t miss opportunities for fun and play?
6) Can you take a pause when you are
experiencing fun or laughter or playfulness or
joy and really feel how it feels?
All these reflections and practices can
contribute to more Funfulness in your life.
Be truly present with what lights you up. The
things you do alone, the people you might do
things with, the places you get to be.
Kitchen dancing, skipping with your kids,
laughing with friends, building Lego,
whatever it is, it is good for you.
Fun and joy are the opposite of stress and
disconnection, it is good for your health.
Now go and juice your joy!
