10. Limit Distractions
Could you identify common distractions
in your environment and take steps to
minimise them? This may include
turning off notifications, using website
blockers, or creating a dedicated
workspace.
11. Set Realistic Goals
Be mindful of setting achievable goals
for yourself. Avoid overcommitting, and
don't be too hard on yourself if you
don't accomplish everything in a day.
12. Seek Support and Accountability
Could you share your goals and tasks
with a trusted friend, family member, or
coach who can support and hold you
accountable for staying on track?
13. Practice Self-Care
Prioritise self-care activities that help
you recharge, such as hobbies,
relaxation, and spending time with
loved ones. Taking care of your mental
and emotional well-being is essential.
14. Continual Learning
Educate yourself about ADHD and
learn the best strategies and tools for
you. Knowledge is empowering and can
lead
to
more
effective
selfmanagement.
15. Reward Yourself
Celebrate your accomplishments, no
matter how small they may seem.
Positive reinforcement can motivate you
to continue making progress.
Remember that finding the right
combination of strategies may require
trial and error. What works best for one
person with ADHD may not work for
another, so experiment with different
techniques and adapt them to your
unique needs. Additionally, consider
seeking support from a mental health
professional or ADHD coach who can
provide personalised guidance and
strategies.
