I'm 41 years old, I'm autistic and
ADHD and I'm a parent and blogger! [I
started my business] all by accident; I
created my page on Facebook to find
others like myself when I was going
through a tough time. The page has
since grown into a community of 150k
people, and I've learnt to self-publish,
amongst other things, so I can create
resources to help people.
The mental load of writing a blog,
creating content for social media,
building and maintaining a website
and
writing
and
designing
books/journals is heavy, especially
when juggling it all with being a mum,
too. I need to ask for help more. I try to
do everything myself, but I'm seeing
that I can't do it all myself; otherwise, I
will burn out spectacularly.
