My beloved friends of Leadership 100,
Once again, we have come together in this marvelous fellowship of Leadership 100, now to
celebrate the 40th Anniversary of this remarkable legacy of its revered Founder and my most
worthy predecessor and inspiration, Archbishop Iakovos.
Your philanthropy of service over 40 years continues to be an extraordinary example for the
entire Archdiocese. Leadership 100 continues to provide providential grants that have sustained
our precious σχολή for the past two decades, always seeing the long-term value in supporting
the education and training of our clergy.
We are eternally grateful for your unyielding support in sustaining the National Ministries of our
Holy Archdiocese, and in demonstrating confidence in the future of our Church. We have every
assurance that Leadership 100 is poised for the next 100 years to do even greater things.
I was pleased to introduce the exhibit at the National Hellenic Museum titled Leadership 100,
1984 to 2024, 40 years of Philanthropic Service, in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the
Archbishop Iakovos Leadership 100 Fund as part of our Archdiocese Centennial exhibit, Legacy,
Renewal & Unity: Celebrating 100 Years of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. The
relationship between the Archdiocese and Leadership 100 was the gift of Archbishop Iakovos,
who saw Orthodoxy and Hellenism as inextricably bound together as our Faith and Heritage.
I commend the Leadership 100 Chairman, Demetrios G. Logothetis, who is a member of the
Board of Trustees of the National Hellenic Museum and the National Hellenic Museum Chairman
and Founder, John P. Calamos, Sr, who is a member of Leadership 100, for making this a reality
available to our Community.
Leadership 100 has now updated that exhibit in book form as a gift to its members, providing
yet another way to tell the remarkable story of the relationship of our Holy Archdiocese and its
blessed offspring.
May Leadership 100 continue to enjoy the abundant Blessings of God in its philanthropic service
and may God Bless all members and their families in their devotion to our Church in America.
