2ND ANNUAL KRAVIS CENTER BLOCK PARTY
Block Party Celebrated
Culture & Community
On Saturday, October 26, the Kravis Center campus was
a buzz with live music, workshops and free activities
for the community in celebration of our second annual
Block Party. People of all ages enjoyed performances by
Fushu Daiko, Ballet Palm Beach, Young Singers of the
Palm Beaches and Grammy ®-nominated reggae band
Third World. Hundreds of guests participated in a variety
of workshopsand activities including Improvisation/
Sketch Comedy Workshop by Mod 27 Improv, African
Drum Workshop by Abasi Hanif, Country Fusion Line
Dancing by Kristi J. Moynihan, Palm Beach Symphony
Instrument Petting Zoo, Modern Maya “Alfombra”
(Sawdust Carpet) Creation with the Mendez Brothers,
Kravis On Broadway Musical Chairs, Silent Disco and
much more.
“Hosting the community at the Kravis center was a great
way to celebrate the excitement and power of the arts,”
said Diane Quinn, Kravis Center CEO. “Whether we were
moving to the music, singing with our friends or beating
on a drum, this event brought the community together
for a day of fun.”
