PROJECT 12
Two of Kravis Center’s Own Honored
The Project 12 Initiative began in 2014, established to
recognize and honor industry leaders in Palm Beach
County. The program highlights positive Black male
leadership in Palm Beach County, encouraging the
next generation of young men by showcasing local role
models. This year, Kravis Center Board Member Bradley
Hurston was chosen as one of the top 12 nominees.
Additionally, the initiative recognizes local humanitarians
in Palm Beach County who go the extra mile for those
they serve at their reception. We are proud that our
own Vanessa Young was one of three recipients. She
was honored for her significant impact while serving as
the Kravis Center’s Community Outreach Director for
numerous years.
In an event sponsored by various local organizations,
including the Kravis Center, a reception was held in
honor of Bradley, Vanessa and other nominees on
Saturday, February 1st, at the Boca West Country Club,
kicking off Black History Month celebration.
