VOLUNTEER SALUTE
The Annual
Volunteer Salute was
Out of this World!
Nearly 600 volunteers and guests put on their
spacesuits for Kravis Center’s Volunteer Salute. The
annual thank-you dinner is known for its imaginative
themes and fun surprises. This year stood out with its
“Out of this World” theme, inspired by the immersive
experience, “The Infinite,” which launched on June
4. Awards were presented for Outstanding Student
Volunteers, Outstanding Rookie Usher, Outstanding
Ushers and Volunteer of the Year.
“Tonight is all about you and we want to recognize and
thank each of you for all you do,” said Maureen Gardella,
Director of Guest Services for the Kravis Center for the
Performing Arts. “Your time and efforts are an invaluable
part of what we do. So far this season our volunteers
have donated more than 60,000 hours of time. The time
you spend here makes a difference to our organization,
our staff and most importantly our community. We are
proud of you and we thank you.”
Guests were treated to dinner prepared by Kravis Events
by Lessing’s Hospitality Group. Volunteers danced the
evening away to music provided by DJ Teddy Mixx.
