SPACE EXPLORERS: THE INFINITE
Guests Journey 250 Miles
Above Earth!
The Kravis Center transported guests to the final frontier
during a VIP reception for the immersive virtual reality
exhibit: SPACE EXPLORERS: THE INFINITE. Inspired by
NASA missions aboard the International Space Station,
the experience takes guests on a breathtaking journey
through space, featuring encounters once only available
to astronauts. THE INFINITE, funded by William A. Meyer,
ran from June 4 through September 2.
On June 4th, VIPs were treated to space themed food,
a full-service “Space Bar” with specialty cocktails
and an impressive sci-fi soundtrack. Guests had the
opportunity to explore more than 60 scenes filmed
aboard the International Space Station and interact with
glowing spheres to initiate encounters with astronauts.
Favorite experiences amongst the attendees were the
never-before-seen 360-degree views of Earth and the
fully immersive cinematic VR spacewalk.
“We are thrilled we were able to bring this exhibit to the
community which allows visitors to experience the awe
and wonder of space exploration firsthand, creating a
profound connection to the work being done aboard
the International Space Station,” said Diane Quinn, CEO
of the Kravis Center.”
