Fort Lauderdale Harbor Beach took the opportunity to give back to the community for Associate
Appreciation Week, earlier this year, by volunteering at “Feeding South Florida”. The Feeding
South Florida mission is to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to
nutritious food. We packed 27,648 pounds of food - that’s 23,000 meals going back to our
community to families in need!
Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa also hosted “Take Your Child to Work Day” this year too.
The children had a blast learning about different occupations, and enjoyed participating in various
activities. Take Your Child to Work Day benefits both kids and working parents. We are looking
forward to hosting this event again next year.
