As the sun begins to set, 3030 Bar beckons
with daily happy hour specials, lively
entertainment, and an unmatched selection
of artisan-crafted cocktails.
Pull up a barstool, and select a handcrafted
cocktail, one of the signature bourbon
offerings, local craft brew or a glass of fine
wine accompanied by our menu of lighter
fare, such as house-smoked fish dip, artisan
cheese plate, ahi tuna poke, or braised beef
tacos. Then sip and stay awhile to get to know
Winston Blake – the man behind the bar.
Having spent the past nearly 30 years of his
career at Harbor Beach Resort – and more
than two decades at 3030 Ocean specifically
– Winston is as much a part of the bar as the
cocktails he handcrafts.
“There’s nothing better than meeting and
greeting guests from different regions and
having good conversations – especially with
repeat guests that have exchanged stories with
for years,” he says. “It’s a pleasure to get to
know some of the families that return to
Harbor Beach year after year and see little
ones go from the being babies on laps to
adults ordering drinks themselves.”
When getting to know his guests, he enjoys
learning when guests are commemorating a
birthday or anniversary and then offering a
celebratory surprise – whether a cocktail,
dessert decked out with candles, or even an
in-room amenity complete with a bottle of
bubble – to make the occasion more
memorable.

Winston has called South Florida home for 30
years and considers the Harbor Beach Resort
team to be his family. Originally though, he
hailed from Saint Maarten, a small-butcosmopolitan island in the Caribbean Sea and
began his bartending journey in 1988 as a
barback at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort.
In his free time, he enjoys whipping up some of
favorite dishes in the kitchen, watching sports,
and listening to music.
