ASSISTANT FRONT
OFFICE MANAGER
MEET
KESHEEM
HODGE
Upon entering Marriott Harbor Beach Resort,
you’re transported to a vacation state of mind.
The lobby captivates with oceanfront views, the
melodious music of live steel drums, and the
signature Harbor Beach fragrance that come
together to invite you to slip into relaxation
mode.
After soaking in the sights and sounds, the
next thing you very well may notice is the
smiling face of Kesheem Hodge, Assistant
Front Office Manager, extending a warm
welcome and setting the tone for a
memorable stay.
“The best part of my job is simply making
people happy,” he says. “It’s an art. A skill that
requires continuous practice and dedication.
And with this, I utilize my abilities to positively
impact our guests, and connect and lead our
teams, all with cheer and enthusiasm.”
In the role of Assistant Front Office Manager,
Kesheem leads his team to achieve their
highest potential, instilling in them a belief
that every moment should be celebrated,
regardless of the reason.
“We strive to seize every opportunity to
create a memorable moment. For
honeymooners, that may mean coordinating
to have chilled champagne waiting in their
guestroom, or for newly enrolled Marriott
Bonvoy members, perhaps an upgrade to a
suite to show our appreciation; or sometimes,
it’s just sharing stories and catching up.”
Occasionally, the opportunity to curate
memorable moments for guests may stem
from less joyous scenarios – challenging
Kesheem and his team to quickly think
through a thoughtful approach.

PRESTIGE | Harbor Beach
“A widowed mother and her daughter returned
to Harbor Beach following the passing of their
husband and father. As a family, they had
visited together year after year and had more
than 20 years of memories at the resort. As it
was their first trip back, it was of course and
emotional one,” said Kesheem. “Along with
treating the ladies to glasses of champagne
while we upgraded them to a suite, we also
arranged to have a charcuterie board with
her and her husband’s favorite bottle of wine
waiting, with a handwritten note of welcome.
The team and I ensured that they thoroughly
enjoyed this stay through activities and
experiences, still allowing time to cater to
those teary moments.”
Growing up in the Virgin Islands, being
influenced by the hospitality industry was
inevitable as it’s part of the territory’s culture.
“The best part of my
job is simply making
people happy”.
Off the clock, Kesheem enjoys traveling and
being immersed into new cultures – an
interest which he credits to his upbringing –
and maintaining relationships with his family
back in the Virgin Islands. Additionally, he
enjoys trying new eateries with his friends, and
striking a balance between thrill seeking to
satisfy his adventurous side with spending
alone time at the beach to disconnect.
