Radio Equipment Directive
The Radio Equipment Directive requires all equipment within its scope to comply with the requirements of the
Low Voltage Directive, regardless of its voltage range.
Equipment that may have fallen outside the scope of the Low Voltage Directive; due to the operational voltage being less
than 50 VAC or 75 VDC; now has to fulfil the requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive, under Article 3 Essential
Requirements.
