The Weald Sixth Form students
regularly achieve among the highest
results in the area and in 2022,
despite a national dip, we saw our
best ever results!
42% of students attained grades
A*-A (compared with 34%
nationally) and 68% attained A*-B
This was the first year that students
sat public exams post-pandemic,
and so we were delighted to
celebrate so positively with them.
In 2022, 90% of those students
who progressed on to study at
degree level secured their first
place offers.
Last year, two of our students
progressed to the University of
Oxford - one to study Medicine and
one to study Law.
We have seen some outstanding
successes in students securing
degree level apprenticeships,
including at Thales and Rolls Royce.
Students have a wide range of
support at The Weald Sixth Form,
including:

l Learning Mentors
l access to our school Careers
Manager who provides
comprehensive support and
guidance to students for their
post-18 pathways.
We also organise a variety of
external speakers and workshops
throughout the Sixth Form.
