The Sixth Form Team
Our team of Sixth Form
Tutors, Sixth Form Managers
and Progress Coaches
provides support, guidance
and help for every student.
Students see their Form
Tutors at least three times
a week so they are very
well placed to help with
any academic or pastoral
concerns or queries. They
also provide individual
support for students in
making decisions for their
next steps after Sixth Form.

Heidi Tucker
Director of KS5 Learning and
Head of Sixth Form/Assistant
Headteacher
As Director of Learning at
Key Stage 5 and Head of
Sixth Form I have oversight of the
academic progress of all Sixth
Form students. I work closely with
Subject Leaders to ensure that our
Key Stage 5 curriculum best meets
the needs of our students.
Sixth Form Manager (Academic)
My role is to look after each
of the 300+ students in our
Sixth Form community, advising,
guiding and supporting everyone
to become an independent,
successful learner ready for
life after The Weald! I discuss
progress, celebrate achievement
and help to work out solutions
to problems that individuals
may encounter. Working with the
Prefect Team, I endeavour to make
the Weald Sixth Form experience
a meaningful, memorable and
enjoyable one which I hope you
will be a part of.

Sixth Form Manager - Pastoral
(part-time)
Our role as Pastoral Sixth
Form Managers is to support
each and every student during
their time at The Weald. We are
based in the Sixth Form Office
and our door is always open
for a chat, if you need advice,
are worried about something or
someone or you just need to take
a minute. Our main priority is to
make sure you are both happy
and successful whilst you study
with us.
Lisa Love
Sixth Form Progress Coach
My role is to support students
to enable them to reach their
full potential during timetabled
Progress Coaching sessions. I
help identified students to develop
their skills, thus enabling them to
achieve the best outcome in their
A-Level and BTEC courses and
preparing them for independent
study. The support offered is
flexible so that students can
concentrate on different areas
such as organisation skills and
revision techniques, depending on
their individual needs.
Sixth Form Administrator
As the Sixth Form
Administrator, my door is
always open and I will often be
your first point of contact on a day
to day basis. I can help with any
queries you may have and point
you in the right direction to find
the information you need. For new
students applying, I co-ordinate
and help with all stages of the
application process, and for those
nearing the end of their studies
with us I help with checking UCAS
applications before they are sent.
