WHY CHOOSE PSYCHOLOGY?
Psychology allows you to use scientific
theories and models to explain all aspects of
human behaviour. It explores and evaluates
opposing views on, for example, the causes of
addiction, phobias, mental health issues, crime,
memory loss and aggression. Four approaches
are used to explain behaviour; social,
biological, cognitive and behavioural. Year 13
explores criminology & clinical applications.
Research methods are also covered. You’ll see
the world very differently after two years!
